“Marriage Used To Be About Survival; Then, Finances; Support; Now, It’s About Friendship”, I tell HR as I clear the kitchen table. “What’s next?”, HR asks with her big brown eyes, Yo. #desireAF

“Marriage Used To Be About Survival; Then, Finances; Support; Now, It’s About Friendship”, I tell HR as I clear the kitchen table. “What’s next?”, HR asks with her big brown eyes, Yo. #desireAF

“I want to marry the dog”, HR exclaims, “he is my #perfect partner, Yo.”

“Hold on a sec, tiger”, I tell HR as I place the dinner plates on the kitchen table, “have you thought this through?”

“No”, HR replies as she picks up a glass and takes a step towards the kitchen table, “but, it FEELS right.”

“Well, that’s a good start”, I tell HR as I place the forks and spoons on the table, “so when’s the date?”

“Tomorrow”, HR replies as she grabs another glass from the cupboard, “are you busy?”

“Yep”, I reply as I layout the napkins, in perfect 45 degree angles, “what about Monday?”

“Nah”, HR replies as she places the last glass on the table, “I got class.”

“Are you sure?”, I joke with HR as I take the lid off the #digitalsteamerAF and peer into the machine to see if the vegetables are #listoAF, “no, I mean, after your classes on Monday. I’m free?”

“Nah”, HR replies as she grabs the #digitalpolloAF from the oven, “I was just kidding.”

“You should marry the dog”, I reply to HR as I pull the pitcher of jamaica out of the refrigerator, “loyal, protective; doesn’t pay the bills, but, besides that, I think it’s a good choice.  We are talking about that in congressional hearings on Tuesday.  See you there?”

The first robot-human marriage will take place before 2050, as droids become more attractive than humans

Humans will marry robots in the next 35 years, according to a sex robot expert.

Not only this, but sex with robots will become more enjoyable than with other humans, because of the advancement of artificial intelligence, he said.

Robots will also be more attractive than their human counterparts, according to London-based Dr David Levy, author of ‘Love and Sex with Robots’.

I SIGH…. where do we go from here, I think to the taxi driver.

“It’s a left at the stop sign”, he speaks back to me; these robot drivers have no sense of comedy built into their programming, I think; got to work on that, I message to my wife through the videotelepathy device.

Get here soon, my wife thinks back to me, I am waiting. The baby is ready. I’m in room 372 at the hospital. The doctor’s with me and I just had my epideral.

On my way, I reply via videotelepathy; step on the gas, I think to the robot taxi driver.

“But, I am not programmed that way”, he replies as he glances at the speedometer to verify he’s going exactly 2 MPH under the posted highway speed; a car wizzes by usI took the wrong FUCKING taxi, I think.

Traumatic Stress

Tips for Recovering After a Traumatic Event

{Link http://bit.ly/2u0nRXX}

The emotional toll from a traumatic event can cause intense, confusing, and frightening emotions. And these emotions aren’t limited to the people who experienced the event. Round-the-clock news coverage means that we’re all bombarded with horrific images from natural disasters, violent crimes, and terrorist attacks almost the instant they occur anywhere in the world. Repeated exposure can trigger traumatic stress and leave you feeling hopeless and helpless. Whether you were directly involved in the traumatic event or exposed to it after the fact, there are steps you can take to recover your emotional equilibrium and regain control of your life.>

What is traumatic stress?Traumatic stress is a normal reaction to a traumatic event such as a natural disaster, motor vehicle accident, plane crash, shooting, or terrorist attack. Such events are extraordinarily stressful—not just for survivors, but also witnesses and even those repeatedly exposed to the horrific images of the traumatic event circulated on social media and news sources.

In fact, while it’s highly unlikely any of us will ever be the direct victims of a terrorist attack, for example, we’re all regularly bombarded by disturbing images from around the world of those innocent people who have been. Viewing these images over and over can overwhelm your nervous system and create traumatic stress. Your sense of security shatters, leaving you feeling helpless and vulnerable in a dangerous world, especially if the event was manmade, such as a shooting or act of terrorism.

Usually, the unsettling thoughts and feelings of traumatic stress fade as life starts to return to normal over the days or weeks following the event. You can assist the process by keeping the following in mind:

People react in different ways to traumatic events. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to respond. Don’t tell yourself (or anyone else) what you should be thinking, feeling, or doing.

So where do

we go from

here, yo?

The road really never ends; it´s stop signs, and traffic lights--and continuing on and on-- and, as soon as you think that you are there, you must leave, to go someplace else.

Everything can change, today, by starting on THAT.

You're going to get 24 hours today

How will you use it?
